Referral Programme Terms

These Referral Programme Terms (these “Terms”) govern the referral programme operated by Spondula (“Spondula”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and are entered into between Spondula and each participating user. These Terms are supplemental to, and subject to, our Terms of Use, which are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Terms of Use in respect of the referral programme, these Terms shall prevail.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

1.1  “Referrer” means an eligible user who invites another person to join Spondula by means of such user’s valid referral link or code;

1.2  “Referred User” means a person who signs up to Spondula in response to, and using, a Referrer’s valid referral link or code;

1.3  “Qualifying Referral” means a referral that satisfies each of the conditions set out in clause 3.1; and

1.4  “Reward” means the reward payable under clause 2, subject to and in accordance with these Terms.

2. The Referral Programme and Rewards

2.1  A Referrer may receive, in respect of each Qualifying Referral, a Reward of $10 worth of BTC-S.

2.2  A Referred User may, in addition, receive a sign-up Reward of $10 worth of BTC-S, provided that all of the conditions set out in clause 3.1 are satisfied.

2.3  For the avoidance of doubt, no referral shall be valid, and no Reward shall be payable, unless the Referred User signs up using the Referrer’s valid referral link or code.

3. Qualifying Requirements

3.1  A referral shall constitute a “Qualifying Referral” only where each of the following conditions is satisfied: (a) the Referred User signs up using the Referrer’s valid referral link or code; (b) both the Referrer and the Referred User complete onboarding; (c) both the Referrer and the Referred User complete identity verification (KYC) where required; (d) both the Referrer and the Referred User complete a first qualifying transaction; and (e) both the Referrer and the Referred User comply with all Spondula terms, policies, and programme rules.

4. Payment of Rewards

4.1  A Reward shall be issued only once all of the conditions set out in clause 3.1 have been satisfied in full.

4.2  Provided that, where either the Referrer or the Referred User fails to complete any required step, no Reward shall be issued.

5. No Self-Referrals

5.1  A user shall not refer himself, herself, or itself.

5.2  The use of duplicate accounts, fake accounts, automated sign-ups, reward farming, or any attempt to manipulate the programme is prohibited.

6. Reward Abuse

6.1  Spondula may withhold, cancel, reverse, or refuse any Reward where fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts, suspicious activity, or policy violations are detected.

7. Changes to the Programme

7.1  Spondula may amend, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time.

7.2  Any Reward already earned in accordance with the programme rules shall remain subject to verification and compliance checks.
